Terms of Use

This website is provided by ShankuChakra to share information about our products and export services and to receive buyer enquiries. Product specifications, pricing, and availability discussed through enquiries are confirmed individually per order and are subject to a separate commercial agreement between ShankuChakra and the buyer.

Content on this website — including product descriptions and imagery — may not be reproduced without written permission from ShankuChakra.

Information only — not an offer

Specifications, HS codes, MOQs and other figures on this website are typical or indicative ranges for information only. They do not constitute an offer, a guaranteed specification or a binding quotation. A contract exists only once a written proforma invoice or sales contract has been accepted by both parties, and its terms take precedence over anything published here.

Incoterms

Unless a contract states otherwise, trade terms quoted by ShankuChakra (for example FOB, CFR or CIF) are interpreted under Incoterms® 2020 published by the International Chamber of Commerce.

Export compliance

All supply is subject to the export policy of the Government of India in force at the time of shipment (including any DGFT restrictions or minimum export price conditions), and to the import rules of the destination country. ShankuChakra does not supply to parties or destinations subject to applicable sanctions, and may decline or suspend any order where supply would breach applicable law.

Force majeure

Neither party is liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control — including natural disasters, crop failure, epidemics, war, strikes, port or carrier disruption, and changes in government regulation or export policy. The specific force majeure terms for an order are set out in its sales contract.

Limitation of liability

ShankuChakra is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on general information published on this website. Liability in relation to a specific order is limited to the terms of the sales contract for that order.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. For individual orders, the governing law and dispute-resolution mechanism (including any agreed arbitration) are those stated in the sales contract.
