Merchant Exporter · International Sourcing Partner
India Merchant Exporter Sourcing Network
ShankuChakra works between international buyers and suitable Indian suppliers to coordinate spice, coco peat and specialty agricultural product sourcing and export requirements. We do not own factories — we coordinate with qualified suppliers on your behalf, and transparency about that role is part of how we work.
How We Work
Requirement to Shipment
Requirement Collection
We start by understanding the product, specification, quantity and destination you need.
Supplier Identification
We identify suitable suppliers for the product from our sourcing network in India.
Specification Coordination
Grade, quality parameters and packaging requirements are confirmed with the supplier against your requirement.
Sample Coordination
Where applicable, samples are arranged for your review before commitment.
Commercial Discussion
Pricing, terms and feasibility are discussed once specification and quantity are confirmed.
Packaging Coordination
Packaging is matched to product, order quantity, destination and buyer requirements.
Export Documentation
Standard export paperwork is prepared per shipment, as applicable to the product and destination.
Shipment Coordination
Production, documentation and shipment are coordinated with the supplier through to dispatch.
Subject to supplier availability, commercial feasibility and destination-market requirements. Not every enquiry can be supplied — feasibility is confirmed at the enquiry stage. For a full stage-by-stage walk-through of what happens between order confirmation and shipment, see our export process page.
Why Coordinate Through a Merchant Exporter
A merchant exporter isn’t tied to a single factory’s output, so if a specific supplier can’t meet a grade, quantity or timeline, we can look elsewhere in the sourcing network rather than the order stalling on one relationship. The trade-off is honesty about the role itself: we coordinate and verify, we don’t manufacture, and every specification, sample and shipment commitment is checked against what the actual supplying source can deliver — not what would make the quickest sale.
How Suppliers Are Qualified
A supplier entering the network is expected to hold the registrations relevant to their product category (APEDA, FSSAI, GST as applicable) and to confirm specification against a real sample, not a generic data sheet. The same verification standard we’d want a buyer to apply to us — see our guide to verifying export credentials — is what we apply upstream, since a claim we can’t verify isn’t one we’re willing to pass on to a buyer.
