ShankuChakra Exports

Spice & Rice Exporter in Chennai

ShankuChakra is a Chennai-based merchant exporter of Indian spices, non-basmati rice, coco peat and moringa for wholesale buyers abroad. We confirm the specification with the supplying source, coordinate packaging and export documentation, and ship through the ports of South India. Export-registered with DGFT since 2011.

Why Buyers Source Through a Chennai Exporter

Chennai is the routing point for many South Indian sourcing lanes. Chennai Port and Kamarajar Port (Ennore) sit on the city’s doorstep, and V.O. Chidambaranar Port at Tuticorin is a further option for southern origins. Working from here keeps the paperwork close to the customs and trade offices that handle it: our Importer-Exporter Code was issued by the DGFT office in Chennai, and our food business registration is held with the Tamil Nadu Food Safety Wing.

Tamil Nadu itself contributes some of what we ship, such as Erode turmeric, and the rest comes from the region best suited to each product. We say so on every product page rather than implying that everything originates in one state.

The practical benefit for an importer is one named contact who coordinates specification, documents and loading, instead of several intermediaries. See the full export process for how an order moves from enquiry to shipment.

Chennai Exporter FAQ

Are you a manufacturer or a merchant exporter?

ShankuChakra is a merchant exporter. We source from qualified suppliers and growing regions, confirm the specification, coordinate packaging and export documentation, and arrange shipment. We do not claim to manufacture or process the products ourselves.

Which ports do your shipments load from?

Shipments quoted FOB Chennai load from Chennai Port or Kamarajar Port (Ennore), and V.O. Chidambaranar Port at Tuticorin is reviewed where it suits the supplier location and destination. The loading port is confirmed in writing before a quotation is finalised.

Do all your products come from Tamil Nadu?

No. We operate from Chennai, but each product is sourced from the region that suits it: for example Erode for turmeric, Guntur for dry red chilli, Wayanad for black pepper and Unjha for cumin. The origin is shown on every product page.

Which products do you export from Chennai?

Turmeric, dry red chilli, coriander, black pepper, cumin, cardamom, dry ginger, fennel seeds and fenugreek seeds, plus coco peat and coir pith, moringa and non-basmati rice. Each has its own specification page and downloadable spec sheet where available.

How quickly do you reply to an enquiry?

We respond to every genuine enquiry within one working day (Mon–Sat, IST).

How can I check that your registrations are genuine?

Our IEC, APEDA, FSSAI, GST and trademark certificates are published on the Certificates page, with registration numbers masked for public display. Unmasked copies are shared with buyers who send a genuine enquiry, and several can be checked directly on the issuing authority's website.
